Kartik Deepdaan
Through the holy month of Kartik, lamps are offered to Shri Yugal Kishor Juu every evening, ending with Dev Deepawali on Kartik Purnima.

Kartik is the dearest month of the year in Braj. From the day after Sharad Purnima until Kartik Purnima, devotees keep the niyam sewa: rising before dawn, bathing in the Yamuna, singing the Damodar lila and offering a lamp to Thakur Ji each evening.
At the temple the courtyard glows with diyas at sandhya aarti throughout the month. Lamps and wicks are provided; please arrive before the evening aarti so that the deepdaan can begin together. The month closes with Dev Deepawali on Kartik Purnima, when the whole of Vrindavan is lit.
