Holi Utsav
Braj Holi at the temple: phoolon ki holi, gulal with Yugal Kishor Juu, Holika Dahan on Phalgun Purnima and colours the next morning.

Holi in Vrindavan is not a day but a season, and the temples are at its heart. In the week before Phalgun Purnima the evening samaj is given to the songs of Holi, flowers are showered on Thakur Ji in phoolon ki holi, and gulal is offered and shared.
On Phalgun Purnima the Holika is lit after dusk. The next morning colours are played in the courtyard with Yugal Kishor Juu watching from his jharokha. Wear old clothes, come with an open heart, and expect to be coloured.
